The Filippin Institute was founded by Monsignor Erminio Filippin in 1924 and for thirty years it was an indispensable school hub in the Pedemontana del Grappa and a place of human, religious, and academic formation for the people of the foothills. From 1958, its leadership was assumed by the Congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, whose founder is Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle (1651-1719), canonized in 1900 and proclaimed in 1950 “special Patron of all Christian educators” by Pius XII. The Filippin Institute thus became part of a network of quality schools, originally present in France. The educational project expanded over the years with the establishment of secondary school curricula and a boarding school. It is currently called La Salle International Campus – Filippin Institutes.
