Thermal Baths

The presence of a thermal center in the territory of Crespano is attested during Habsburg rule, between 1820 and 1840, when the town’s mineral water, suitably collected and channeled, allowed for the construction of a spa establishment, among whose guests was also Empress Elisabeth of Bavaria, Queen of Hungary, Bohemia, and Croatia. Currently, scientific studies have ascertained that, due to their chemical-physical and bacteriological properties, the thermal resources exploited in the area of the former Scalabrini Institute in Crespano belong to the group of cold, medium-mineral waters, free from chemical contaminants and bacteriologically pure.
